Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced leader to head our user interface and user experience design efforts. This role is based in Lahore, Pakistan, and reports directly to the Head of UI/UX in Barcelona.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Design Vision: Develop and promote a cohesive design strategy throughout the organization.
  2. Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative environment that attracts thoughtful and creative people, ensure strong internal communication flow, and cultivate an active debate about what makes for great user-centric designs.
  3. Industry Expertise: Stay updated with relevant industry trends and apply new ideas as appropriate.
  4. Collaboration and Advocacy: Work closely with engineering, project, and general managers to define initiatives and projects, and advocate for the customer.
  5. Team Culture: Create a healthy team environment that enables productivity and high-quality work.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience creating interfaces, large-scale websites, or applications, leading interdisciplinary teams that create products with a focus on innovation and usability, and be able to anticipate needs, concerns, and input from teammates across departments.

Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  2. Passion for the work and ability to share that enthusiasm.
  3. Think from the user's perspective and strive for delivering outstanding quality.
  4. Innovative, creative, and able to work well at the head of a team and become the owner of your workstream(s).
