System Architect Role

This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for an experienced System Architect to join our team. As a key member of the project, you will be responsible for designing and developing the ATS Subsystem in line with the Project Roadmap and as agreed with the ATS project leader.

The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, including experience in design and deployment methodology (V cycle, SysML, requirement management), software development in industrial environments (C++ or C#), and knowledge of network and network protocols (OPC, SOAP, 0MQ, …). They will also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing the distribution of multiple servers and applications for your project, designing different ATS applications by reusing existing ATS product components, and designing data configuration needed for your project. You will also support development and integration during integration phases, provide QCD estimation on your project request, and manage the Project ATS Development team for both internal and external developments.

  • Design and develop the ATS Subsystem in line with the Project Roadmap and as agreed with the ATS project leader.
  • Develop and implement design-to-cost approach in developments to decrease unit cost of solutions.
  • Manage Project Requirements: ensure the traceability of Project requirements (from customer requirement down to software and hardware level) and ensure that each Project requirement has been addressed by V&V through the whole development cycle.
  • Manage ATS Product Configuration, Change Management and deliveries: establish and maintain the configuration baselines, perform configuration reviews, lead the Control Board (CCB) with the ATS Leader.
