Key Responsibilities

This role includes leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of the ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management System. The ideal candidate will ensure that business continuity processes align with ISO 22301 standards and other relevant frameworks.

The successful candidate will also:

  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to business operations;">
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to prioritize risks and develop mitigation strategies;">
  • Conduct business impact analysis to identify critical resources, maximum tolerable downtime, recovery time objective, and recovery point objective;">
  • Establish and manage incident response, crisis management, and disaster recovery frameworks;">
  • Celebrate regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of continuity and response plans;">
  • Analyze test results and incidents to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary enhancements;">
  • Provide training to employees on business continuity principles, procedures, and their roles in a disruption;">
  • Foster a culture of preparedness and resilience across the organization.">

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

">
  • ">
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Continuity Management, Risk Management, or a related field;">
  • Certification in Business Continuity Management (e.g., CBCP - Certified Business Continuity Professional) is highly desirable;">
  • At least two years of proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing business continuity plans within an ISO 22301 framework;">
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and methodologies;">
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills;">
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex processes and projects;">
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to business continuity.">
