Senior WordPress Developer

A skilled Senior WordPress Developer is required to oversee the entire lifecycle of complex projects, from initial conception to final delivery. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of WordPress's core functions, architecture, and best development practices.

Responsibilities
  1. Site Design and Development

Design and develop responsive, mobile-friendly WordPress sites that meet client specifications. Leverage third-party APIs and services to enhance site functionality.

Integration and Performance Enhancement

Integrate third-party APIs and services into WordPress sites to improve user experience and site performance. Apply caching techniques, minification, and compression to optimize WordPress sites for speed.

Issue Resolution and Team Leadership

Identify and resolve issues with WordPress sites in a timely manner, ensuring project deadlines are met. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Project Coordination and Client Communication

Work closely with designers and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Effectively communicate with clients, providing regular project updates and addressing their concerns.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  1. WordPress Mastery

Demonstrate extensive knowledge and 4+ years of experience with WordPress, including its core functions, architecture, and development best practices.

API Integration Expertise

Familiarity with WordPress APIs, including the REST API, to integrate WordPress with other services and platforms.

Debugging and Testing Proficiency

Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques, as well as testing frameworks such as PHPUnit, to ensure high-quality code.

E-commerce Development Experience

Hands-on experience with WooCommerce and expertise in payment gateway integration to support e-commerce projects.
