Head Supply Chain Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage and oversee overall supply chain operations, including procurement, production, and logistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering and supply chain management, with excellent leadership and team building skills.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day supply chain operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products by coordinating with cross-functional teams and implementing process improvements.
  • Oversee procurement activities, including raw material sourcing and inventory management to ensure cost optimization and quality control.
  • Lead production teams to achieve high-quality standards, improve productivity, and reduce costs through data-driven decision making and strategic planning.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce waste, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation skills.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field + MBA in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in leading teams and achieving results-oriented goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
