  • The incumbent will oversee the Accounts and Procurement Section, ensuring efficient purchasing activities through procurement committee participation.">
  • Accounting software entry reviews.">
  • Voucher verification, supporting documents, and payment processing.">
  • Implementing Accounting Policies and procedures according to International Accounting standards.">
  • Monitoring and verifying monthly expenditure reports of Recurring Budget, shared with the Finance department.">
  • Quotation procurement through purchase orders.">
  • Vendor contract reviews, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining records.">
  • Timely withholding tax deduction and WHT deposit.">
  • Budget estimate preparation and monitoring, updating departments accordingly.">
  • Fee-related issues and student installment coordination with the Finance department.">
  • Vouchers review for students (hostel accommodations, messings, and laundry) and faculty members (accommodations and utilities), as well as other vendors (rental properties).">
  • Monthly bank reconciliations.">
  • Draft salary verification of Faculty/Officer/NG Staff, sending data to the payroll section, and resolving salary-related issues with coordination from the payroll section.">
  • Student/Research Fund record maintenance.">
  • Funds monitoring from various donors, submitting reports within deadlines.">
  • Liaising with supervisors for daily financial matters.">
  • Performing other duties assigned by supervision.">
  • CORRESPONDENCE WITH BANKS AND FACULTY">
  • LIAISON WITH SUPPLIERS FOR SOLVING MATTERS RELATING TO PAYMENTS AND PROCUREMENT">
  • INCOME TAX/SALES TAX REPORT AND E-FILING">
  • PROCESSING OF E-MINUTES AND FOLLOW-UPS">
  • DISBURSEMENT OF STUDENTS SCHOLARSHIPS / STIPEND REFUND OF DUES THROUGH FINANCE DEPARTMENT">
  • STUDENT CLEARANCE AT THE TIME OF DEGREE COMPLETION/WITHDRAWAL">
  • ENSURING MEDICAL RE-IMBURSEMENTS ARE PROVIDED TO EMPLOYEES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THEIR MEDICAL CEILING.">
  • PREPARING TA/DA CASES IN ACCORDANCE WITH GOVERNMENT POLICIES.">
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:">
    • ">
    • Proficient knowledge of modern financial management and accounting practices, relevant legislation, and financial policies and procedures.">
    • Understanding of applicable Tax laws (regional and national levels).">
    • PPRA rules and e-purchasing system proficiency.">
    • ERP system expertise, specifically financial modules.">
    • Excellent communication, written, interpersonal, and analytical skills.">
    • General IT skills: ERP systems, Microsoft Office, email, and Internet-based research.">
    • Team management ability.">
    • Revenue/Receivable, Procurement/Payable, Payroll, Financial Reporting cycle understanding.">
    • Code of Ethics commitment.">
