About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Professional to join our Corporate team in the capacity of Financial Staff Accountant, reporting directly to the Corporate Controller.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who thrives in complex and dynamic environments with opportunities for advancement. The ideal candidate will be highly efficient, organized, and possess strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and post monthly allocations of Corporate costs to all business units
  • Approve payments to key IT vendors
  • Approve Corporate fixed asset purchases in the Materials Management System
  • Prepare quarterly lead sheets for all balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Prepare a quarterly listing of stock equipment deployments
  • Prepare a quarterly SRED credits workbook
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting as required by Corporate Finance management
Candidate Requirements
  • Finalist or completed professional accounting qualification / Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Experience preparing journal entries
  • Public accounting or large corporate experience preferred
  • Strong written, oral and computer skills (preferably Word and Excel)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) Software and Blackline experience considered an asset
