Telemedicine Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Telemedicine Expert to lead the development of an integrated telemedicine model in Pakistan, aligning with Universal Health Coverage and National Health Support Programme objectives.

This role entails providing strategic direction, stakeholder engagement, and experience in institutional design and multisectoral reforms. The successful candidate will drive the implementation of a scalable telemedicine model in Punjab, considering infrastructural, regulatory, and human resource needs across the province.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a comprehensive review of telemedicine initiatives in various regions of Pakistan, identifying best practices and areas for improvement.
• Benchmark national and global best practices in telemedicine implementation from comparable Low- and Middle-Income Countries.
• Develop a scalable model of telemedicine in Punjab, incorporating recommendations to alleviate barriers to equitable access, particularly for women, marginalized groups, and persons with disabilities.
• Define performance indicators aligned with NHSP DLI-3 and PHC metrics to inform future implementation.
• Recommend digital dashboard enhancements and integration options with Hospital Management Information System and Electronic Medical Record.
• Propose verification protocols and feedback mechanisms to support transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in Public Health, Health Policy, or relevant field (preferably MBBS).
• At least 15 years' overall experience, with expertise in institutional design and multisectoral reforms.
• Strong systems thinking and integration skills.
