Job Title: Operations Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production operations, with experience in planning, managing, and supervising teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. To plan and coordinate making and packing operations on the floor to achieve agreed shift targets in volume, quality, output reliability, cost, and safety.
  2. To receive and manage chemical and packaging materials.
  3. To organize and control labor for operations in terms of numbers and skills.
  4. To monitor material consumption and yield, reducing waste levels.
  5. To minimize material variance by ensuring optimal usage of chemicals and packaging, and accurate record-keeping.
  6. To supervise weekly and monthly stock counts and Fourth Shift transactions.
  7. To ensure workers wear personal protective clothing and comply with safety, health, and environmental rules.
  8. To drive autonomous maintenance activities on the shop floor.
  9. To support implementation of best practices such as TPM, HACCP, and audit recommendations.
  10. To identify skill gaps and organize training for workers.
  11. To continuously improve operations by identifying areas for process development.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to develop strong internal and external networks.
  • Expertise in leading large teams.

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in BSc. Engineering or Sciences is required.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience on a production floor, preferably in an FMCG environment.
  • Familiarity with supply chain operations, especially in planning & SAP.
  • Experience in managing shop floor safety, health, and environment.
