Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to fill the role of Assistant Professor at our institution. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, conducting research, and contributing to the development of academic programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • A PhD in Mathematics or a related field from a recognized university is essential for this role.
  • Candidates must have publications and experience as per the HEC criteria for faculty appointments.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of their academic and professional documents.
  • The last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by the relevant authorities.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates with a 3rd Div in their academic career or a weak academic profile may not be considered eligible.
  • NUST employees with less than one year of service or without NOC from their Head of Institution are not eligible.
  • Candidates who are pursuing a required degree or are medically unfit may also be ineligible.

Selection Process:

Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued an offer letter. Candidates serving in government departments or armed forces may apply after obtaining an NOC from their respective organizations. Late or incomplete applications will be ignored. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews; no TA/DA will be provided.

Work Environment:

The position is based in Karachi for Pakistan Navy Engineering College (PNEC, Karachi).
