Job Title: Operations Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize plant efficiency and production output to align with strategic plans.
  • Monitor production capacity, process efficiency, and implement the production plan in line with sales demands.
  • Manage manpower resources, providing training as needed to ensure skill development.
  • Develop, analyze, and implement work schedules, monitor staff performance, and conduct regular training sessions.
  • Ensure quality control parameters are met, take corrective action on customer complaints and optimize production processes.
  • Arrange materials efficiently according to production plans, minimizing raw material waste and losses.
  • Oversee inventory management of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished goods warehousing and stocking.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and maintenance jobs.
  • Maintain effective communication with senior levels and across departments.
  • Promote cost-saving initiatives and quality circles.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery as per planned dates.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge (able to understand production processes).
  • Proficient computer skills, with a good command of MS Office.
  • Able to work independently and handle pressure effectively.
