About the Role

This position involves analyzing, investigating and resolving issues related to software and system functionality, integrations, product features and adoption.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and troubleshoot software and system functionality, integrations, product feature-function and adoption issues to identify root causes and implement efficient solutions.
  • Create and develop SQL scripts and other custom software processes to enhance productivity and automate tasks.
  • Perform simple product installations to provide a pathway into professional services or hosted consulting, pre-sales, engineering, product management and more.
  • Write knowledge-base documentation and assist in expanding our self-service portal and customer happiness by helping to develop top-notch training modules and videos to ensure seamless onboarding and troubleshooting experiences.
  • Provide valuable insights to improve existing solutions and plan those of our next generation by leveraging industry trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to identify and resolve issues quickly and provide customer insights that aid in developing bug fixes, new product functionality and features.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of relevant industry experience or demonstrated capability in a similar role, showcasing expertise in software development and support.
  • Experience in developing with Java, preferably using Spring frameworks and/or Spring Boot for robust and scalable applications.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases and the SQL programming language to design and optimize database structures.
  • Ideal experience using ORMs such as Hibernate to simplify database interactions and improve performance.
  • Able to learn new languages and technologies quickly to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
  • Awareness of common software design patterns and principles to ensure maintainable and efficient code.
  • Understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle, from planning to deployment and maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases to design and query complex datasets.
  • A strong problem-solving attitude, self-motivated to tackle challenging issues and find effective solutions.
  • Excellent written communication skills in English at business level to articulate complex technical concepts.
  • Possess a keen interest in enhancing UI and UX skills to deliver intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • A Computer Science degree or equivalent is required, with a solid foundation in software development principles and practices.
