The position of Research Assistant is available at the Department of Botany under a Higher Education Commission project. The successful candidate will work on an exciting research project titled "Application response of Industrial effluents treated with fungal biofilm on Lady finger (Okra)". This project aims to explore the effects of industrial waste treatment using fungal biofilms on plants, specifically Lady fingers or Okras.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in laboratory experiments and data collection related to the impact of industrial effluent treatments on plant growth.
  • Help in analyzing data, preparing reports, and contributing to the research project's publication.

This opportunity is ideal for an enrolled PhD student with a background in botany, preferably from the same department. Experience in working with fungal cultures will be beneficial. The selected candidate will receive a monthly stipend and have the chance to gain valuable experience in research and development.
