Our organization is dedicated to empowering children through play-based activities. We are seeking a skilled Volunteer Coach to lead sports programs in Thatta and Sujawal.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children and communities. A background in education or sports development would be an asset.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily field visits to designated community areas, schools, and other project sites.
  • Lead play-based sessions with children and youth in schools or community centers for at least 5 hours daily, 6 days a week.
  • Implement program modules with children in school/community settings daily under guidance from senior staff.
  • Support staff in conducting needs assessments with children and schools to select appropriate games and sports equipment.
  • Select Junior Leaders and involve teachers and JLs in play and sports sessions.
  • Organize sports events and Play Days in assigned schools with support from senior staff.
  • Involuntarily girls and children with disabilities in play and sports programs.
  • Involve trained leaders in program resources.
  • Regularly update logbooks with session details and attend weekly/monthly supervision meetings.

Safeguarding and Child Protection:

  • Avoid harm and ensure all project activities are safe and respectful towards children's rights.
  • Sign 'Standards of Practice' and abide by our child safeguarding policy.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Intermediate degree required.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in schools or non-formal education settings with children/communities.
  • Basic software skills including Gmail, WhatsApp, Teams, Microsoft Office, and Zoom.
  • Good language skills in Sindhi, Siraiki, and Urdu.
  • Ability to travel locally and be proactive with passion for sports and play.
  • Good writing, planning, communication, interpersonal relations, and eagerness to learn and grow.
