Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable web applications using the Laravel PHP framework.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development with a deep understanding of PHP and the Laravel framework. Experience in REST API development and integration is also essential. Additionally, familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks is desirable.

Responsibilities include collaborating with project managers, designers, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. You will also implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between different systems, integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance application functionality and user experience, and develop custom WordPress plugins to extend and customize the WordPress CMS platform.

As a senior developer, you will troubleshoot and debug issues, perform testing, and optimize application performance. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience in Laravel PHP development.
  • Strong backend development skills with a deep understanding of PHP and the Laravel framework.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in REST API development and integration.
  • Proven experience in developing custom WordPress plugins.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks is desirable.
  • Experience with database management and optimization, particularly with relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
  • Proficient in version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of other PHP frameworks (e.g., Symfony, CodeIgniter) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with automated testing methodologies and frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit).
  • Understanding of agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and deployment processes.
