Interior Designers/Home Decorators play a pivotal role in creating visually appealing and functional spaces that meet the needs of clients. This is an advanced-level position requiring specialized knowledge, skills, and experience.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive design briefs and coordinate with contractors and consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Verify compliance with environmental and legal requirements and obtain necessary approvals to guarantee a smooth workflow.
  • Prepare and analyze detailed BOQs, specifications, material selections, and design solutions to meet client expectations.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in AUTO-CAD R13-2014, Rev-it Architecture 8-2014, SketchUp 8.
  • Basic proficiency in Studio Max, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and MS Project management/coordination.
  • Photography, Quantity Estimation, Freehand Sketch Presentation, Mood Board Preparation, Mock-up Samples, Furniture/Finish Selection.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture.
  • Certificate of Photography.

Professional Experience:

  • Senior Interior Designer leading and managing drafting and design teams for approvals from authorities.
  • Developing schematic and layout proposals for front and back of house designs.

Previous Work Experience:

  • Responsible for interior design, as-built drawings, and site inspections.
  • Overseeing quality control and budget estimation.
  • Certifying subcontractor claims based on work progress and quality.

Training/Courses:

  • 12 Hours LEED Course conducted by Mr. KWWC at 2D Fold Training Center, Dubai.
  • AutoCAD 2D and 3D conducted by Mr. Dante Roxas at Western Mindanao State University.
