The role of AutoCAD Technician/Draftsperson is a critical component of the engineering team, responsible for creating accurate and detailed CAD drawings that support the design and analysis of telecom infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities include preparing technical drawings that translate conceptual designs and specifications into clear, professional documents. The incumbent will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure compliance with quality and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of drafting principles, and excellent collaboration skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Word and Excel) is essential, as well as experience working on telecommunications infrastructure projects.

This role requires a high level of organization, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary for effective collaboration with colleagues.

  • Create and modify detailed CAD drawings for telecom infrastructure projects.
  • Convert design concepts and sketches from engineers into technical drawings.
  • Ensure all CAD drawings meet quality standards and are compliant with industry specifications.

Qualifications for this position include a qualification in CAD Technology, Civil Engineering, or relevant technical discipline, along with at least 3-5 years of experience as an AutoCAD Technician or in a similar role. Experience with telecommunications infrastructure is highly desirable.

A successful candidate will be able to work efficiently in a team environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. They will also possess excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills in a technical setting.
