Accounting Specialist Opportunity

Job Description: As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in handling bookkeeping clients. You will collaborate closely with existing customers and partners to create value and forge lasting relationships. To succeed in this role, you will need to be self-driven, well-organized, ready to learn, and result-oriented, ideally with B2C and B2B working experience in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on accounting software like QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Zoho Books.
  • Develop charts of accounts and accounting procedures and systems for new clients.
  • Post entries shared by clients into their respective accounts in software on a daily basis.
  • Ensure the accuracy of data entry.
  • Review and process unpaid or pending accounts.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations.
  • Monthly reporting to clients on agreed parameters.
  • Analyze and maintain customer account activities.
  • Coordinate with the manager to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Work on financial models for investment optimization customers.
Requirements:
  • ACCA/CA track professionals
  • Strong interest and a desire to continue pursuing your career in accounting and finance
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to partner and influence across functions and levels.
