Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet assigned performance targets set by the Department Head.
  • Promote a high-quality teaching environment for students, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Deliver lectures according to faculty workload policy and guidelines.
  • Develop and contribute to teaching program planning, enhancing curriculum development.
  • Enhance experiential learning through innovative lesson strategies.
  • Encourage critical thinking, promote debate, and rational discourse among students.
  • Supervise student projects, field trips, and placements when necessary, ensuring their success.
  • Assess and provide feedback on student work, examinations, and academic progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of students' performance for evaluation purposes.
  • Mentor students as part of the Riphah Mentoring Program, guiding them towards excellence.
  • Update data in Virtual Learning Environment and other required software systems.
  • Incorporate Islamic and ethical values in teaching, participating in departmental and university activities.
  • Ensure teaching content aligns with RIU's mission, addressing student needs and expectations.
  • Monitor student attendance in classes, labs, and practical sessions.
  • Disseminate research findings through publications and media channels, sharing knowledge with a wider audience.
  • Pursue practical applications of research outcomes, driving innovation and impact.
  • Conduct independent research, leading projects as principal investigator, and mentoring team members or PhD students.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Department Head, supporting organizational objectives.
