Web Application Developer Job Description

As a web application developer, you will be responsible for creating interactive and visually appealing web applications using Wix Velo. Your primary goal will be to develop and implement efficient, clean, and maintainable code in compliance with best practices and coding standards.

The successful candidate will have experience as a frontend or full-stack developer, with a focus on web development. They should be proficient in Wix Velo and its various functionalities, as well as have experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand project requirements, goals, and desired outcomes.
  • Develop and implement interactive and visually appealing web applications using Wix Velo.
  • Customize and extend Wix Velo components to achieve specific functionalities and user experiences.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and services to enhance the capabilities of web applications.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a frontend or full-stack developer, with a focus on web development.
  • Proficiency in Wix Velo and its various functionalities.
  • Experience in integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON data.
  • Familiarity with database design and management, including working with databases like Wix Databases or external databases.
  • Understanding of responsive design, UI/UX best practices, and web design principles.
