Our organization is seeking a diligent Data Entry Clerk to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering data into our electronic systems, ensuring the highest level of precision and attention to detail.

  • Data Input: Enter alphanumeric, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into designated computer databases, spreadsheets, or other electronic formats.
  • Data Validation: Verify the accuracy and completeness of data inputs by comparing it with source documents, records, or electronic files.
  • Error Correction: Review and validate data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and make necessary corrections or adjustments as needed.
  • Data Maintenance: Clean and standardize data by removing duplicate entries, formatting inconsistencies, and other data quality issues to maintain data integrity.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update databases, records, and files by adding new data, modifying existing entries, and archiving outdated or obsolete information.
  • Reporting: Generate and prepare reports, summaries, and statistical analyses of data entry activities, performance metrics, and key indicators for management review and decision-making.
Requirements

Traits: Excellent typing skills, strong attention to detail, and high level of accuracy.

Skills: Proficiency in using data entry and database management software, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access), and other relevant tools.

Responsibilities: Create, update, and manage spreadsheets effectively, organize and maintain accurate records and files, and meet productivity standards.

Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.
