Senior Data Scientist Position

This senior data scientist role is pivotal to the success of our organization, utilizing machine learning and data science to drive business outcomes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing predictive models on large datasets, leveraging advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Model Development: Develop and implement predictive models using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms.
  • Pipeline Engineering: Build robust data integration pipelines in Python, ensuring seamless data flow and efficient processing.
  • Model Assessment: Conduct thorough backtesting, validation, and performance evaluation of data-driven models to ensure optimal results.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate research insights into practical solutions that drive business value.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and refine models to improve accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, or Quantitative Research.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), solid understanding of statistical modeling, regression, and time-series analysis.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Desirable Skills:
  • Quantitative Finance: Experience in quantitative finance, trading, or investment-related projects.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and large-scale data infrastructure.
  • Financial Data APIs: Knowledge of financial data APIs, Bloomberg/Refinitiv, or alternative datasets.
