Backend Developer

We are seeking an accomplished Backend Developer to assume server-side logic, database integration, and API development responsibilities. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with Node.js or Python (FastAPI), strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, and a solid understanding of OAuth and secure authentication practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs
  • Integrate backend logic with databases and external services
  • Implement backend support for chatbot workflows and logic
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient backend code
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, AI/NLP engineers, and DevOps to deliver complete solutions
  • Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high reliability
  • Maintain proper documentation of APIs and backend processes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Strong programming skills in Node.js and/or Python (FastAPI preferred)
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 and secure API authentication practices
  • Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture
  • Proficiency in Git and version control workflows
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with chatbot platforms or AI-related applications
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment pipelines
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker)
  • Experience with GraphQL is a plus
  • Unit testing and API testing experience (e.g., Postman, PyTest, Jest)
