Assistant Manager ECE (Early Childhood Education)

The role of Assistant Manager ECE is to assist the manager in implementing and completing early childhood education activities on time and within scope, ensuring that the ECE component objectives are met.

Duties

The Assistant Manager ECE will oversee all ECE-related activities, lead the district coordinator for ECE, and work with the project team to achieve the desired results. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and facilitating ECE activities across the region;
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to meet ECE component objectives;
  • Providing guidance and support to the district coordinator ECE; and
  • Collaborating with the project team to ensure efficient resource allocation and successful project outcomes.

In addition to these key responsibilities, the Assistant Manager ECE will also be responsible for:

Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to stakeholders;
Cultivating strong relationships with internal and external partners;
Identifying and addressing potential risks and challenges;
Staying up-to-date with best practices in ECE and applying this knowledge to improve program delivery.

Strong communication, coordination, team building, report writing, and project management skills are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will have a background in ECE and experience working in a similar capacity.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field;
    Suitable experience in a related role;
    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills;
    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
