Job Description

As a Junior Lecturer, you will assist in teaching undergraduate computer science courses, labs, and tutorials. You will work closely with senior faculty to develop course materials and assessments. Your responsibilities will include conducting lab sessions, grading assignments, and managing classroom activities. You will also help students implement programming, databases, and basic algorithms.

You will maintain records of student performance and attendance, provide academic support and mentoring to assigned students, and participate in departmental meetings. Additionally, you will engage in personal development and training in teaching and research methodologies.

You will be responsible for performing any other tasks assigned by the Head of Department.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong educational background in computer science or a related field. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

You should have experience in teaching and laboratory settings, as well as proficiency in programming languages, databases, and basic algorithms. A strong understanding of pedagogy and learning theories is also desirable.
