Financial Manager Job Description

We specialize in delivering customized, data-driven solutions to address unique business challenges. Our team is seeking a skilled financial manager to support our organization by documenting, analyzing, and planning data to provide valuable insights.

The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of reporting, enabling us to make informed decisions and manage our costs effectively.

  • Assist with all aspects of finance, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll management.
  • Compile monthly financial statements and prepare the monthly financial package for senior management.
  • Assist with cash forecasting and monitoring to ensure working capital needs are met.
  • Maintain a chart of accounts and assist with project budgeting.
  • Prepare grant reporting and filings as required.
  • Collaborate with senior management to formulate the overall strategic direction of the organization.
  • Explore new avenues to increase turnover profitability.
  • Prepare feasibilities for new projects and ventures.
  • Review external investments and calculate return on investment (ROI) and return on invested capital (ROIC).
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide insights to senior management around financial modeling, forecasts, and profitability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; a master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a financial manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial processes, and accounting principles.
  • Proficient in accounting software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
