Web Development and SEO Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Development and SEO specialist to join our team. As our lead technical operator, you'll be responsible for the development and management of custom WordPress websites using Elementor or Block Editor.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development principles, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal input.
Responsibilities include:
- Building and managing custom WordPress websites using Elementor or Block Editor.
- Setting up themes, plugins, and custom features per project.
- Optimizing Core Web Vitals and site speed for all builds.
- Managing a plugin stack including security, SEO, forms, backups, and optimization.
- Performing complete on-page SEO including titles, internal linking, schema, image optimization, etc.
- Setting up Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Meta Pixel, and Tag Manager.
- Creating clean, functional Looker Studio dashboards for client performance tracking.
- Using Bloom to update project tasks and delivery status.
- Communicating daily via Google Chat.
- Logging hours and availability via Homebase.
Future Opportunities
You may help onboard and guide junior developers or contractors as the agency grows. While this is not a management role today, your expertise will help us build the team around you.
