Key Responsibilities:
  • Incident Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex server, hosting, and network-related issues efficiently.
  • Linux Server Administration: Manage, optimize, and secure Linux-based hosting environments (CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL). Administer web servers (Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), and caching layers (Redis, Memcached).
  • Automation & DevOps: Develop automation scripts (Bash, Python, Perl) for server provisioning and configuration management.
  • Cloud & Virtualization: Deploy containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). Support cloud-based hosting solutions (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, including firewall rules and SELinux/AppArmor.
  • Monitoring & Incident Response: Set up monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, Nagios.
  • Collaboration & Mentoring: Work closely with teams to ensure seamless operations and knowledge sharing.
