Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

This role involves providing part-time support to our cloud team, focusing on streamlining CI/CD processes, managing infrastructure as code, implementing secure deployment strategies, and conducting advanced research and development.
Main Responsibilities- Design and Manage Azure Pipelines: Utilize YAML to streamline and automate build and deployment processes for scalable solutions.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Leverage Bicep, ARM, or Terraform to manage and provision cloud resources efficiently.
- Configure Secure Resource Access: Implement Managed Identity and Service Principals to ensure secure access to cloud resources.
- Integrate Testing, Security, and Monitoring: Embed security testing, monitoring, and compliance into DevOps workflows to ensure robust and reliable solutions.
- DevOps Guidance and Automation: Provide expertise in designing and implementing best practices for automation, continuous integration, and delivery.
- Experience and Expertise: 5+ years of experience in Azure DevOps and cloud infrastructure with strong proficiency in Git, Azure Repos, and release pipelines.
- Languages and Tools: Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash, with knowledge of Docker, AKS, and cloud security.
- Key Skills: Experience with Managed Identity, Service Principal, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) is required, along with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and DevOps principles.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, DevOps principles, and the ability to design and implement scalable and secure solutions. The role requires excellent technical skills, communication, and collaboration abilities to provide top-notch support to our cloud team.
