Ecommerce Architect

Nexius seeks a seasoned ecommerce architect to lead the development of our Magento 2 platform. This individual will design and implement system architectures that support high traffic and complex functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and customize Magento 2 extensions and modules to meet business requirements.
  • Architect and implement new system architectures that support high traffic and complex functionalities.
  • Integrate payment methods and third-party services, ensuring seamless and secure connections.
  • Lead checkout customizations and optimizations for performance and user experience.
  • Implement security patches and perform ongoing quality maintenance to ensure platform security and compliance.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Magento 2 development.
  • Strong experience with custom extension development and system architecture in Magento 2.
  • Knowledge of Magento 2 checkout customization and the ability to implement advanced features.
  • Experience in integrating payment methods and other third-party services.
  • Expertise in security patches and maintaining quality code standards.
  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems and their integrations with Magento.
  • Proficiency with Hyva theme development and Knockout.js for frontend customization.
  • Working knowledge of PHP frameworks like Laravel is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices and version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Magento 2 certification is highly desirable.
