
Relationship Building Specialist

A key role in our organization is to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their unique financial needs and goals. As a Business Development Officer - Sales, you will serve as a dedicated point of contact for personalized assistance and guidance. Whether it's opening accounts, navigating financial products, or addressing concerns, you will provide tailored solutions to enhance the banking experience.
Responsibilities:
- Implement sales/service plans to achieve growth objectives by agreeing micro-level delivery plans with senior management.
- Sell financial products by establishing contact and developing relationships with customers according to defined standards of practice.
- Achieve sales targets/objectives in assigned areas while maintaining best ethics and moral practices by following established procedures.
- Ensure target achievement through genuine sales by avoiding family loaning, activist base lending, and adjustment lending.
- Make business profitable through sales of loans and enhancement of customer numbers by following bank policies.
- Develop marketing strategies for company products.
- Demonstrate aptitude for persuasion and negotiation.
- Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating industry position.
- Evaluate customer profiles using the five Cs of credit.
- Disseminate product terms and conditions to customers.
- Ensure on-track performance by conducting physical verification of prospective clients.
- Collect payments proactively, ensuring timely repayment of loans through communication with clients.
- Handle customer legal documents carefully to avoid misuse.
- Guide customers to deposit loan repayments at cash counters only.
- Avoid handling cash for customers during RO functions, but ensure strict compliance with collection manual when collecting from the field.
- Prepare weekly field activity planners and mark deviations in consultation with line managers.
- Hold monthly/quarterly meetings with customers as per defined product programs.
- Conduct loan bookings in strict compliance with bank policies, procedures, ethics, and standards.
- Review product and service knowledge continuously and recommend areas of improvement through personal/client feedback.
- Conduct market assessments/research to identify selling possibilities and new markets/areas, and review existing markets/areas for final decisions in consultation with line managers.
- Maintain internal service standards and ensure no service-related complaints are received from customers by following bank fair treatment of customer policy.
- Develop and sustain long-lasting relationships between the bank and its customers.
- Report cases of attempted fraud or potential loss to the bank due to internal or external customers in any form to line managers/HODs.
- Ensure compliance with bank product SOPs and SBPs rules and regulations to safeguard the bank's reputation and prevent financial, operational, and market losses by adopting internal control standards in true letter and spirit.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution, preferably with an MBA. Additionally, 0-1 years' experience in a related field would be beneficial.
