Job Title: Software Solutions Architect

A key contributor in the company's technology team, this role plays a pivotal part in developing server applications for various software platforms. The focus lies on crafting robust, secure, and high-performing server applications that meet design requirements and are devoid of bugs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, debug, document, and maintain back-end services, models, processes, and databases supporting applications.
  • Promote high-quality development practices within the team.
  • Develop deep expertise in cloud architectures: security, availability, microservices, consumption-based billing, scalability designs.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and techniques to enhance application quality and efficiency.
  • Evaluate and implement agile principles to maximize software delivery value.
  • Provide technical expertise for complex assignments/projects, collaborating with staff, contractors, and vendors to meet business needs.
  • Conduct complex design/analysis to address diverse business requirements via technology.
  • Lead small to medium projects, providing recommendations to management and guidance in selecting alternatives.
  • Offer technical assistance to others in highly specialized areas and provide expertise to department management and other external entities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in Java/Spring development, specifically working with commercial Spring MVC/Hibernate and AJAX web applications.
  • Experience in system integration, especially designing, building, and consuming REST services.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL as a DB engine, deployed on AWS and relational DB skills for PostgreSQL & Terraform.
  • Knowledge of React Js is advantageous.
  • Ability to work closely with stakeholders, user experience designers, and quality assurance teams.
  • Embracing evolving project requirements and specifications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Belief in the importance of test automation.
