Job Title: Financial Analyst Trainee

We are seeking a highly skilled ACCA trainee to assist the Accounts and Finance Manager in our organization.

The ideal candidate should be an ACCA student with at least 9 papers passed, an ACCA finalist, or part-qualified. Relevant field experience in well-reputed organizations will be advantageous.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of accounting and finance and will assist the Finance Manager in implementing company finance policies, evaluating admin staff performance, maintaining books of accounts, taxation, and other related admin/finance functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in formulating and implementing admin and finance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct performance appraisals of personnel and complete probation sessions for admin department staff.
  • Initiate disciplinary actions through investigation and resolve team member or admin staff grievances.
  • Manage and supervise all finance-related resources and functions.
  • Prepare reports and analysis based on provided data.
  • Assist in preparing cash books and bank statements.
  • Support in salary preparation.
  • Participate in monthly/yearly closings.
  • Review assigned expenses, payroll records, etc.
  • Communicate daily with bank personnel.
  • Oversee day-to-day office administrative activities.
  • Implement policies and procedures for lower staff to ensure fair use of company assets, ethics, and policies.
  • Ensure quality work from office boys regarding finance.
  • Supervise security staff and maintain office stock and asset safety.
  • Handle external company affairs.
  • Purchase goods for the company daily.
  • Update financial data in databases for accuracy and availability.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
  • A business graduate in finance or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Actively pursuing ACCA qualification.
  • Basic QuickBooks, bookkeeping, and double-entry knowledge.
  • Fundamental understanding of finance concepts and theories.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently on projects and tasks.
  • Team environment capabilities.
  • Verbal and written communication proficiency.
  • Self-learning and self-motivation.
  • Efficient time management.
