About The Role

Seeking an experienced professional to oversee various customer handling areas of airport operations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee customer handling areas including check-in, departure gates, transits, and arrivals to ensure high standards of service and safe working procedures.
  • Assign pre-flight duties to staff and conduct de-briefings to discuss discrepancies.
  • Direct Check-in staff in handling passenger irregularities and invalid documents.
  • Make decisions regarding excess baggage charges and direct Check-in staff in dealing with these situations.
  • Guide Check-in staff in case of denied boarding and ensure updating of SSCI for downgrading or offloading customers.
  • Maintain good relationships with customs, immigration, security, police, medical, cargo, ground transport, catering, duty-free, courier companies, tour operators, and airline staff.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and local regulations for handling delayed services and provide assistance to passengers during delays.
  • Monitor handling agents' output to ensure it meets company standards and contractual agreements.
  • Enforce strict adherence to company safety and security standards.
  • Handle lost/found/damaged baggage according to company regulations and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure staff on shift wear company uniforms to the required standard and maintain adequate stock levels of stationery.
  • Provide quality service to VIPs, unaccompanied children, and other special guests in arrival, departure, and transit areas.
  • Coordinate with lounge staff to enhance customer experience.
  • Liaise with Airport Support Unit/WWCC for VCRS updates in case of misconnections involving rerouting.
  • Monitor catering figures and update catering units to prevent waste.
  • Carry out assigned tasks and duties as required by Airport Manager.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Ordinary National Diploma or equivalent qualification.
