Chief Anaesthetist

• Perform preoperative anaesthesia assessments on patients.
• Provide perioperative anaesthesia care during surgeries.
• Offer anaesthesia services outside the operating room (Radiology, Radiotherapy, and endoscopy suites).
• Conduct related procedures under the supervision of a consultant.
• Adhere to quality and patient safety policies.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.

• Hold an MBBS degree from a recognized university; additional diplomas or MCPS in relevant fields are preferred.
• Have at least seven years of post-MBBS experience in related areas.
• Maintain open communication with faculty, staff, patients, and their families.
• Possess strong decision-making skills and crisis management abilities.
• Demonstrate expertise in counselling patients and their families.
• Undergo comprehensive employment reference checks.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will be able to weigh multiple factors, develop solutions, and prevent recurrence. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are also crucial for success in this position.
