Software Architect
Petrosys is a leader in oil and gas industry solutions. It provides mapping, modeling, and data management capabilities uniquely integrated with specialist geoscience and GIS applications. Petrosys produces quality maps and visualizations that aggregate, manage, and analyze underlying data for actionable results.

The Role:
The division seeks an experienced Software Architect / Senior Full-Stack Developer (Java) who can coordinate with developers and business analysts and assist other developers in the team. The chosen individual will work out of a resource center office as an extension of the R&D department.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  2. Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle and SQL Server).
  3. Good SQL and CSS skills.
  4. Resourceful and self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  5. Experience working with Business Analysts in turning high-level input into tasks.
  6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have:
  1. Experience with Elasticsearch.
  2. Experience working in the Oil & Gas or GIS industry.
  3. Maths/probability experience including Monte Carlo simulation.
