Our team of professionals is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Indirect Tax practice. As an expert in customs duty and indirect tax advisory, you will play a key role in helping clients navigate the complexities of international trade.

About the Role

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of customs law and its practical application across various countries. You will be responsible for identifying risk areas and providing tailored advice to clients on VAT treatment of new and complex transactions.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with a team of VAT professionals to combine diverse cross-border transaction experience with local tax knowledge across a broad spectrum of industries. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in preparing reports and schedules for clients
  • Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with client personnel
  • Building strong internal relationships within the VAT practice and across other service lines
  • Engaging with colleagues in overseas offices to deliver VAT advice in respect of global jurisdictions

Requirements

To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in economics, finance, tax or accounting
  • At least two years of relevant experience as an Indirect Tax professional
  • Experience working for a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred
  • Customs duty advisory experience is preferable
