Job Overview

This is a challenging role that involves designing, implementing, and maintaining complex telecom systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications and electronics engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Design and Implementation: Plan, design, commission, and monitor complex telecommunication equipment and facilities.
  • Daily Operations Management: Perform day-to-day Telecom operations, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate routine maintenance activities for Telecom systems and ensure timely fault resolution and upgrades.
  • Tender Assessments: Assess the telecommunications aspects of tenders against prescribed standards as required.
  • Technical Investigations: Undertake preliminary technical investigations for telecommunications network commissioning issues.
  • Record Updates: Update telecommunications network records following completion of a project.
  • Handover Procedures: Ensure formal handover procedure for telecommunications equipment.
  • Risk Management Compliance: Comply with the risk management framework and participate actively in risk management activities.

Requirements

Education: Engineering Graduate (Telecommunication or Electronics)

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Telecommunication or Electronics

Skills: Strong planning, design, and commissioning skills; excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; knowledge of risk management principles
