We are seeking a skilled Game Tester with over 2 years of experience testing mobile and web games. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for gaming, and experience in identifying and reporting game issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual and automated testing for mobile (iOS & Android) and web-based games to ensure a smooth player experience.
  • Execute test cases, test plans, and exploratory testing to identify bugs and performance issues that impact gameplay.
  • Document and track bugs using tools like ClickUp or others to facilitate issue resolution.
  • Verify UI/UX consistency, responsiveness, and game flow across devices to maintain a consistent player experience.
  • Test multiplayer features, game mechanics, animations, AI, and monetization features to ensure seamless gameplay.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and QA teams to resolve technical issues and improve the game.
  • Perform network testing for real-time gameplay features to prevent lag and latency issues.
  • Validate updates, patches, and releases for smooth deployment and minimize disruptions to players.
  • Provide feedback on gameplay, difficulty, and user engagement to inform development decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in game testing for mobile and web platforms.
  • Understanding of game development methodologies and QA best practices.
  • Experience with bug-tracking tools like JIRA, ClickUp, Mantis, Bugzilla to manage and prioritize issues.
  • Familiarity with Unity and Cocos Creator engines to understand game development processes.
  • Experience testing Android and iOS apps, including crashes and UI behavior to ensure cross-platform compatibility.
  • Knowledge of multiplayer testing, network issues, and latency to troubleshoot complex problems.
  • Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments under tight deadlines to meet project requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with automated testing tools for mobile games to streamline testing processes.
  • Knowledge of backend services like PlayFab or GameSparks to understand game architecture.
