About the Role

We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join our technical team and contribute to the enhancement of a large-scale product-based application for iOS devices. This role focuses on the development, improvement, and maintenance of the existing app, built using Swift UIKit, ensuring high performance, quality, and user satisfaction.

You will collaborate closely with the technical team to define, design, and implement new features while addressing performance bottlenecks and bugs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift UIKit.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure the app's performance, scalability, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Bug Fixing: Identify and resolve application bottlenecks and bugs in a timely manner.
  • Coding Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code, following best practices.
  • Apple Guidelines: Ensure the app adheres to Apple's design principles and guidelines.
  • Integration: Implement push notifications, cloud messaging, and other app integrations.
  • Performance Tuning: Conduct performance tuning and memory optimization.
  • Emerging Technologies: Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to the app.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • iOS Frameworks: Proficiency in Swift and UIKit, as well as experience with iOS frameworks like Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, and Core Text.
  • Offline Storage: Strong knowledge of offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • API Integration: Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect the app to back-end services.
  • Human Interface Guidelines: Solid understanding of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and design principles.
  • Debugging Skills: Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1+ years of hands-on iOS app development experience.
  • Demonstrable Portfolio: Demonstrable portfolio of apps built with Swift UIKit.
