We are seeking a seasoned Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in billing procedures for GI procedures, Anesthesia, and Pathology. They will be responsible for accurate claim processing, modifier usage, reading reports, payment posting, and claim follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of billable CPT and ICD codes for GI procedures, Anesthesia, and Pathology.
  • Familiarize yourself with LCD and NCD policies for payers to ensure compliance with insurance guidelines.
  • Understand the importance of reading reports to calculate accurate anesthesia units, modifier usage, and CPT codes.
  • Process claims accurately, including eligibility verification and benefit coordination.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance providers and patients to resolve claim-related issues.

We are looking for a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills and proficiency in Excel. If you have experience with AdvantX Practice Management Solutions and Waystar Clearing House, that's a plus

Requirements:

  • Minimum graduation qualification.
  • Experience in GI procedures, Anesthesia, and Pathology billing, payment posting, and follow-up.
  • Must have experience with AdvantX Practice Management solutions and Waystar Clearing House.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance processes, billing guidelines, and new payer policies.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
