We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join our team as an Accounting Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with management for payment approvals, check preparations, and ensuring compliance with all applicable organizations. This includes excellent bookkeeping, interpersonal skills, and preparation of UK VAT returns.

  • Assisting Senior and Junior Team Members
  • Overseeing Ongoing Maintenance of Accounts
  • Supporting Management in the Accurate Production of Budgets
  • Ensure Cashflow is Utilised Properly and Protect Reserves
  • Audit Financial Information for Inconsistencies
  • Providing Tax Planning Strategies in Accordance with Existing Legislation
  • Ensure the Books of the Organisation are Kept Updated on a Routine Basis
  • Draft Letters, Emails, and Other Necessary Documents for Correspondence
  • Delivering Monthly Accounting Responsibilities Accurately and to Agreed Timelines
  • Maintaining Financial Records Using Various Accounting Software
  • Analysing Financial Data Using Different Analysis Tools and Techniques
  • Preparing Financial Accounts Preparation and Preparing Supporting Working Papers in Excel
  • Year Adjustment Calculations such as Accruals, Prepayments, Depreciation, Deferred or Accrued Income etc.

Requirements:

  • Strong Analytical, Communication, and Computer Skills
  • Understanding of Accounting and Financial Processes
  • Excellent English Communication & Presentational Skills
  • Excellent Organisational and Interpersonal Skills
  • Advance Knowledge of MS Excel
  • Ethical and Professional Behaviour

Qualification:

  • B.Com/ BSc/ M.Com /MBA/ MSc in Finance/Accounting
  • Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
  • Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
  • Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT)
  • Experience in UK based Firm is Essential
