The Senior Onboarding Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the delivery and design of our company-wide onboarding experience. This includes guiding and mentoring Onboarding Specialists with day-to-day execution while focusing on continuous improvement and impact on key business metrics such as retention and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Facilitation & Content Curation
    • Deliver compelling content on company culture, vision, and strategy to diverse audiences with executive presence.
    • Support the development, curation, and maintenance of all orientation content and materials, ensuring relevance, engagement, and currency.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to refine and elevate content delivered by other departments during orientation.
  • Program Strategy & Management
    • Evolve the new hire orientation and onboarding strategy to meet the needs of a growing and dynamic organization.
    • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the onboarding program, such as 90-day retention rates, new hire satisfaction (NPS), and time-to-productivity.
    • Analyze data and feedback from new hire surveys and stakeholder interviews to derive insights and drive programmatic improvements.
    • Select, implement, and optimize onboarding technologies, including modules within HRIS and Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Team Development
    • Provide coaching and mentorship to Onboarding Specialists, fostering a high-performance team environment.
    • Support team goals and objectives, managing workflow to ensure flawless execution of logistical and administrative tasks.
    • Serve as the point of escalation for complex issues related to new hires, onboarding processes, or compliance.
  • Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
    • Cultivate strong relationships with department heads and hiring managers to ensure alignment and drive accountability for a consistent role-based onboarding experience.
    • Serve as a point of contact for onboarding initiatives, program effectiveness, and new hire integration trends.
    • Champion the importance of structured onboarding across the organization, providing resources and training to managers.
