Job Title: KYC/AML Operations Lead

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced KYC/AML Operations Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) functions.

  • Assist the COB Manager in acting as a key point of contact to all client onboarding stakeholders for the location.
  • Maintain effective relationships with business managers, AML, Compliance, Credit, Management, and other Back Office areas.
  • Ensure all MIS meets business, regulatory, and internal reporting expectations.
  • Work with onboarding process stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies and contribute to reducing turnaround times.
  • Recognize emerging risks within the scope of onboarding and work with relevant stakeholders to mitigate them.
  • Drive prioritization of critical items and ensure delivery within SLEs.
  • Assist on key COB projects and initiatives.
  • Assist the COB Manager during internal/external audits and KYC-related queries from local regulators.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Eight years of experience in banking, with four years in KYC/AML onboarding roles.
  • Good understanding and experience of investment banking and products, including traded products, commodities, corporate finance, transaction banking, etc.
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Knowledge of local and international AML regulations and industry guidelines.
