Hospital Pharmacist Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pharmacy Professional to join our team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients and contribute to the success of our organization.
As a Pharmacy Professional, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing patient counseling, among other key responsibilities.
You will work closely with medical professionals to ensure accurate therapeutic doses and effective treatment plans.
To succeed in this role, you will need a Doctorate or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, along with relevant experience in a retail pharmacy or hospital setting.
You should also possess sound knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, and pharmaceutical sciences, as well as familiarity with locally available drugs and pharmaceuticals.
Shift work is required for this position, so you must be able to adapt to changing schedules.
Key Responsibilities- Dispensing medications in various pharmacy settings.
- Managing inventory and expiring products.
- Providing patient counseling and maintaining cash handling responsibilities.
- Preparing sterile injections, bulk compounding, and monitoring chemo critical lists.
- Monitoring lab reports for proper indication of antibiotics, drug-drug interactions, and duplication of same class.
- Timely delivery of medication to nursing units and patients.
- Verification of label accuracy before dispensing medications.
- Expiry completion of drug lists on an accurate and timely basis.
- Doctorate or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university.
- Relevant experience in retail pharmacy or hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, and pharmaceutical sciences.
- Familiarity with locally available drugs, pharmaceuticals, and their indications.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in shift duties.
