Job Responsibilities

As a Vue.js developer at SoftSquare, you will be responsible for developing user-facing web applications and components using the Vue.js framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code for user-facing applications
  2. Building modular and reusable components and libraries
  3. Optimizing application performance
  4. Implementing automated testing integrated into development and maintenance workflows
  5. Staying up-to-date with recent developments in JavaScript and Vue.js
  6. Ensuring security updates and issues found with Vue.js and project dependencies are addressed
  7. Proposing upgrades and updates necessary for modern security and development best practices

Requirements:

  • Strong background in JavaScript language and ES6+ syntax
  • Excellent understanding of Vue.js framework and its core principles
  • Familiarity with Vue.js ecosystem including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, and Nuxt.js
  • Good grasp of HTML5, CSS3, and (Sass or Less) technologies
  • Understanding of server-side rendering and its benefits
  • Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms
  • Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean JavaScript code
  • Experience with Jest or Mocha testing frameworks
  • Proficiency with modern development tools like Babel, Webpack, and Git
  • Experience with consuming and designing RESTful APIs
