Financial Crime Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Financial Crime Risk Management Specialist. This position is responsible for identifying and mitigating financial crime risks in the business.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Proactively identifying financial crime risk changes and potential impacts, and supporting product reviews presented at relevant governance forums.
  • Identifying financial crime risks in the business and providing necessary assessments and solutions, including establishing and implementing strategic policies to manage current and emerging risks.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders within the organization to provide expertise and support on all financial crime related matters, and supporting projects such as policy development, transaction monitoring, analytics, and training.
  • Driving consistency in messaging throughout the organization and fostering a culture of transparency between financial crime and first line of defense teams.
  • Aligning the organization's operating practices with changes in global financial standards and regulatory risk, ensuring the financial crime risk framework remains appropriate.
  • Resolving issues promptly and escalating concerns to management to ensure timely awareness of material concerns.
  • Maintaining and observing all control standards, and implementing recommendations from auditors and regulators.
  • Maintaining awareness of operational risk within the portfolio, minimizing its occurrence through identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting.
  • Clearly identifying financial crime risks and providing analysis, advice, solutions, and support.
  • Interpreting regulatory developments and advising on their impact to the business, providing practical and compliant solutions.
  • Engaging professionally and proactively with senior management and business stakeholders.
