Biostatistics Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Biostatistics Expert to provide academic and research support for faculty and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical principles relevant in medical research, excellent analytical, mathematical, and statistical skills, and proficiency in R software and SPSS software.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing statistical data analysis support for manuscript and grant writing.
• Contributing to the development of new courses, designing research study protocols, and developing assessments and tutorials for graduate programs.
• Actively participating in the departmental Research Aims Methodology clinic for improving the quality and scientific rigor of research proposals.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A Master's degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or a related quantitative field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of statistical principles relevant in medical research.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and statistical skills.
• Proficiency in R software and SPSS software.
• Good research project organizational skills with the ability to work with biomedical sciences researchers.
