Stocks Options Trader Role

A challenging opportunity exists for a diligent and analytical Stocks Options Trader. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and options trading, working closely with our options traders to provide valuable insights and strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to options trading.
  • Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to options traders.
  • Develop and maintain models to predict market movements and identify trading opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, news, and economic indicators.
  • Prepare detailed reports with predictions and projections for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with traders to develop and refine trading strategies.
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools and software to enhance data collection and analysis processes.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and emerging trading technologies.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in options trading or financial analysis.
  • Good understanding of trading on Interactive brokers is a plus.
  • Basic order types such as scale, trail, stop-loss, stop-limit, combo are must-haves.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software is a plus (e.g., Excel, Python, R).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide actionable insights from complex data sets.
