Senior Big Data Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Big Data Engineer to lead our Big Data platform vision and roadmap using Azure services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a high-performing Big Data engineering team.
  • Lead capacity planning and contribute to resource allocation.
  • Define and execute the Big Data platform vision and roadmap using Azure services.

As a Senior Big Data Engineer, you will be responsible for driving project execution from backlog grooming to release management. You will also act as liaison for business and technical stakeholders on project progress.

The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. You will ensure reliable operation and continuous improvement of Azure Big Data pipelines and platform.

You will also champion data quality, governance, and security best practices within Azure environment.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in Big Data engineering with leadership or management role.
  • Hands-on experience and architectural expertise with Azure Big Data services (Data Lake Storage, Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics).
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
